About Baset
The predecessor of Baset Enterprise Co., Ltd., the Chuan Hong Enterprises was incorporated in 2001, mainly supplying lubricants to service stations of medium and large cars and service station for motorcycles.
At the beginning, the company acted as agent and sold other brands in the market. In order to have better control of the quality and autonomy, in 2003 Baset established its own brand. At the time, consumers in Taiwan preferred to purchase products of imported brands, thus many original brands claimed to be imported with original packaging as a form of quality guarantee. However, Baset choose to identify itself as a Taiwanese brand without hesitation.
At the beginning, with no reputation and an incomplete product line, sales volume was not looking good, but with years of hard work, our sales has been increasing each year, thus we can conclude that the quality of the Baset engine oil is widely trusted by service stations for cars and motorcycles. Baset gives maximum effort to quality control of every bottle of Baset lubricant from product inspection, auto fill to tests on actual vehicles. What is the American Petroleum Institute?
The American Petroleum Institute (API) is the only petroleum industry association in the United States. It formulates safe, reliable, and interchangeable standards for standard operating procedures for oil and gas extraction equipment used by the industry. API is also a developer of standards approved by the American National Standards Institute.
Its API standards regarding petroleum, natural gas chemical industry and oil extraction machinery have been adopted by many countries. Products with API certification are widely considered as high-quality products.
The API was established in 1919 and currently has 400 U.S. corporate members.
